If Lee Min Ho is the guy coveted by advertisers, then Lee Si Young is probably his female counterpart, having been courted by many advertisers also and is now known as the female Lee Min Ho. Why you may ask. Well, thanks to the coverage for KBS2TV Boys Before Flowers (even though she had limited time) and MBC We Got Married, it has managed to elevate Lee Si Young into the top tier of stars. Right now, she has already inked contracts with Korea Investment & Securities Co., fashion brand Catrinet, Nongshim instant noodles and sports brand Nepa. And at present, she is also negotiating with 5 other companies so it seems like only a matter of time before she has more than 10 CF contracts.
The reason for Lee Si Young being courted by advertisers is most probably her refreshing, x-factor appearance which brings to consumers a nice visual impact at first glance. But most importantly, her appearance fees are cheaper because she is still relatively new. Her stint on We Got Married with JunJin where she shows her straightforward and frank persona has also won her praise from viewers। And her frank admission that she had went through plastic surgery has won her even more fans because she does not put on a front unlike others.The increase in CFs also mean that Lee Si Young will be even busier day-by-day.
