i'm going to warn you all now, this is entry's strictly Joon Pyo/Jan Di.
impending doom. that and worn out. all through the episode.
what to say. seeing the OTP together after their dragged out seperation was, so good. it made me such a happy shipper. this episode gave us more sweetness. the end half of their zoo date was uber cute. Joon Pyo and Jan Di also have small talk time, which they still need to do more of. i'm thinking that the writers are not putting in talking scenes between them on purpose and are just leaving it for us to assume they had that talk. if that's their thinking, the need to think again. they continue looking like a sweet family till the very end when Joon Pyo has to go home. as they reluctantly part, the look back at each other is so sweet and so, unsettling.
of course we knew Joon Pyo's evil mother would find out about it, and do her evil thing to get rid of Jan Di. and so she did, and now Jan Di's left herself no other option to save the people she loves by leaving Joon Pyo. and while i do get her reasoning, i still didn't want her to do it. =S
their "farewell date" was perfect. so perfect, that the break up had to come right after. there ain't much to say about the date. they were sweet; the sweetest i can ever remember seeing them. and Joon Pyo, the fool, was so freaking happy about everything. his grinning from ear to ear that his girlfriend seemed to be finally taking initiatives to see him. little did he know what was coming.
as for the break up scene. i'm still i little muddled about the whole thing. love/hate? like/dislike? i don't know whether to say i like it or don't like it. i know one thing, HYD2's break up scene was more effective on me. that rainy break up scene made me bawl like a baby. this one, hmm... i felt pangs in my eyes, but no tears. i always did like the bus chase scene, and it was alright here in the break up scene. but i think i like the manga's original context for the scene. good things about this scene... hmm... Joon Pyo looks shocked and pained by Jan Di's sudden decision to break up. in the flashback with Jan Di and Evil Mom, her words about regretting that she wasn't able to save the one person she loved the most... was beautifully sad. but, i don't know... it lacked emotion on my part. i think that's why i couldn't thoroughly like it. i think my own emotional investment in this OTP is whinding, and that's why i couldn't get as devastated as i would have expeted when they broke up. ya, i think that's it.
i felt more for Joon Pyo's self-destructive behaviour at the end of the episode. he really does look like a empty soul without Jan Di.
moments:

i can so imagine the three of them as family after this.

they reluctantly end their date. i like that Jan Di turned back to look at him before she left. it reminds me of that episode in the first half, where after telling Joon Pyo that she's busy for the weekend and can't go with him to Japan, walks away and doesn't glance back. she's slowly showing her growing affection for him. me likes =D

poor Joon Pyo, he thinks he's hearing things at first. but nope, it's really Jan Di at his house to ask him out. not that Jan Di doesn't like that guy, but she should have known right then and there that something was up. still, i enjoy how baffled he is at Jan Di's sudden appearance at his home.

i just think they look so sweet.

sweet and happy again.

kinda reminds of the part in the manga where Doumyouji was supposed to meet Makino for lunch at school, but leaves for America to save her from his horrid mother. it's the lunch (or in this drama, the picnic) they never had in the beginning. *sweet*

my favourite moment in this episode. the scarf kiss =D

poor Joon Pyo is so happy, smiling ear-to-ear, and pinching Jan Di's face cause she's the cutest and most precious thing to him ever. little does he know what's coming. i think i actually felt more saddness watching the happy scenes than the actual break up part.

i don't think i really need to say anything for this. break-up. this time, Jan Di's walking away from him.

and Joon Pyo's self-destructing. seriously, all other scenes aside from the actual break up gets to me more.
just a tiny ment on the coming next two episodes: really? Umi? *sighs* how in the hell is that even going to fit in the next two episodes? i realize that the jdrama did introduce her at the end as well... but there's still other things in this that needs to be settled, aside from her. like Joon Pyo's upcoming amnesia, his father, how the heck their going to bring Joon Pyo and Jan Di together to make it a happening ending. not to mention i hear their doing another time jump. =S i think i want my happy ending to come... like, now!
