Recent news round-ups
There were quite a few pieces of news flowing around these last couple of days. Some quick round-ups for your amusement.
* During Still’s on set interview on Feb 2th, Kim Bum–given the question that the male audience may not be able identify with his role–expressed that he cut off the Internet connection at home a couple of days ago, because he noticed he began a little overly concerning about others’ opinions, which aren’t something he usually cares much. He decided to cut off the internet to keep himself from being distracted.
* During the same interview, Kim Bum displayed his excellent piano playing skills. He told, “I started learning how to play piano when I was five or six years old, because I noticed my fondness for piano. I want to play “Romance” (I guess he’s referring to a song, not a music genre) for the woman I love in the future.” Currently learning how to play guitar for Still, Kim Bum expressed, ” This is my first time to learn to play guitar. I found it’s very interesting. Actually my little sister is studying music and composing in high school. I ask her things about music pretty often. “
* Still on the same interview, Park Jin Hee, who plays Kim Bum’s love interest in Still, revealed that Kim Bum, to her surprise, a very mature man rather than a childish boy. She said, ” I feel he’s been hiding his real age. I really appreciate that he prepared hand warmer and comforter for me while filming in the freezing winter.”
* Kim Bum recently jokes that, if Still’s ratings are beaten down by Chuno in ratings, he would consider performing in sageuk series next time. (His last project “Dream” lost in ratings against another sageuk show.)
* He also expresses that, because of playing the role Ha Min Jae, he got to understand people falling love with each other despite large age gap. He frankly tells, “I feel sharing common interests is more important to me, other than that, things like nationality, age, race, and occupation don’t matter.”
