팔방미인’ 구혜선(사진)이 최근 아마추어 작가와 학생들을 위한 무료 갤러리를 열었다.
구혜선은 1월 초 서울 반포동 서래마을에 ‘마놀린’이란 이름의 갤러리 카페를 열었다. 복층으로 이뤄진 카페 2층에 들어선 갤러리는 일반인들이 무료로 전시도 하고 관람도 할 수 있는 열린 공간으로 마련했다. 그녀는 자신의 그림을 전시한 1층 카페를 관람객들의 휴식 공간으로 제공하고 있다. (Intro to Gallery Cafe Manolin...you all know about it...)
구 혜선의 갤러리 카페는 이미 아마추어 작가들과 일선 학교에 입소문이 퍼져 전시회 문의가 많다고 한다. 서울 서초구청에서도 구혜선의 갤러리 카페에 관심을 갖고 지역주민들을 위한 전시공간이 될 수 있도록 전시회를 갖기도 했다.
The Manolin Gallery is already well known through word of mouth to many amateur artists and art schools. The Gallery gets many calls and inquiries regarding having exhibits as well as about the current exhibits.
구 혜선의 한 측근은 “그림에 재능이 있지만 금전적인 문제로 전시회를 갖는 것에 엄두를 내지 못하는 일반 아마추어 작가나 학생들에게 무료로 대관해주고 있다”면서 “좋은 재능을 가진 사람들이 그 재능을 펼칠 수 있는 기회를 주고자 하는 마음”이라고 밝혔다.
Purpose of the Manolin Gallery: GHS says~'There are many people who may be very talented but do not have the financial backing to have their own exhibitions. Amateur artists and students' works are also exhibitted for free. I hope that many talented people will have the opportunity to spread their talents even further.'
구혜선도 2009년 7월 서울 인사동의 한 갤러리에서 ‘탱고’란 제목으로 그림 전시회를 열어 1만 명을 동원하는 등 성황을 이뤘다. (GHS's own TANGO exhibition in July, 2009...)

There are mang pictures . They are very nice !!1!!!
You are right. This article from SportsDonga (photo by Reporter Lim Jin Hwan) has lots of pix of GHS in yellow top. It does not have any writing except for the title that says that.
